Red Biodegradable Paint on José Garnelo’s Primer Homenaje a Cristóbal Colón

Freshly applied Red logically, biodegradable paint by freehand on October 12th, 2025 onto the left half of the painting, covering Columbus and his crew and sliding to the lower edge of the frame. Carried out by two activists from Futuro Vegetal during Spain's National Day. Accompanied by the shouted caption: “Nothing to celebrate. Eco-social justice” and following the artistic current of previous painting protests across Europe known as Artivism.
